Lately I’ve been experimenting with changing my tone. While I’ve developed a nice, full sound, I’ve noticed it lacked a certain “edge”: a sharpness of attack, or a “reediness” that I really enjoy when listening to other players. My friend Heidi and I stopped by the Commodore Barry Club for some tunes Friday night, as usually is there. Great group of folks turned up and the craic was da bomb! Great time, great friends and some great playing. Heard a friend sing for the first time and was completely blown away.
